Favorite spot on campus
My favorite spot on campus is the green space right outside of Plumb Hall and surrounding the water fountain. I love the string lights that hang between the trees at night and the peaceful sounds strolling around the water fountain.
Favorite thing about ESU
My favorite thing about ESU is the size of campus and classes, it is not too big or too small. ESU is the perfect size to get involved, build relations with professors, and get to know your classmates!
Favorite thing about City of Emporia
My favorite thing about Emporia is the community events. Whether it is the down time of summer, or busy season of fall, there is always something going on in the community! Summertime is full of disc golf and biking events, whereas the fall if full of block parties and tailgating!
Advice for future Hornets
My advice for a future hornet is to not be afraid to get involved! As an ESU grad myself, being involved on campus really allowed me to make the most of my college experience. There are so many ways to get involved at ESU!
Fun fact
A fun fact about me is that I once joined my cousin for 3 days of his thru-hiker journey across the Appalachian Trail. I ended up hiking a total of 60 miles and fighting off a bear!
