Dual Curriculum - Art Therapy & Clinical Counseling
Candidates pursuing this option may earn two masters degrees by completing a shared, three-year curriculum. Program completers will receive both the Master of Science in Art Therapy Counseling AND the Master of Science in Clinical Counseling. Program graduates are eligible to apply for national counseling certification and professional licensing in Kansas and in other states across the country.
As you enter the Clinical Counseling program, you must select only one of the concentrations below. Each concentration meets Kansas state licensing requirements. Additionally, program graduates are eligible to apply for national credentialing.
Applicants pursuing the dual curriculum option in Art Therapy Counseling and Clinical Counseling must make application to each program separately.

The Emporia State University Art Therapy Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs upon the recommendation of The Accreditation Council for Art Therapy Education.
The Emporia State University Art Therapy Program is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design.
