The Emporia State University Nursing program announces the upcoming site review for continuing accreditation of their baccalaureate program by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).

You are invited to meet the accreditation team and share your comments about the nursing program in person at a meeting scheduled for 3 p.m., Sept. 5, 2024, at Cora Miller Hall Room 106.

Student Achievement Data/Outcomes

NCLEX-RN First Time Pass Rates for National Licensure Examination

Traditionally the pass rate for students taking the national licensure examination for registered nurses (NCLEX-RN) has been at or above the national and state mean for the percent of students passing the NCLEX-RN on the first attempt. Expected level of achievement at or greater than 80% for the first-time takers in the same 12-month period.

Employment/Job Placement Rate

The percentage of graduates of the BSN nursing program, typically within 1 year of graduation, who are employed in a position for which the nursing program prepared them. Expected level of achievement at or greater than 90%.
