Emporia State University is prideful of its recognition by specialized accreditation entities. In addition to being recognized by institutional accreditor, The Higher Learning Commission, The School of Business is recognized by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. The Teachers College has programs recognized by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education and the Kansas State Department of Education. The School of Library and Information Management is accredited by the American Library Association. In all, individual programs are accredited by 17 different specialized accrediting agencies.
