The Institutional Research function of the Office of Institutional Effectiveness serves a vital role in identifying, creating, analyzing, and reporting the body of evidence used to inform the university's operations. The data analyses and research findings are used for both internal and external reporting. Required reporting occurs with the Kansas Board of Regents and the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS). The collaborations between the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and the Information Technologies department are an institutional strength. We share knowledge, resources, and expertise in creating an environment that is committed to transparently sharing and using data to inform strategic decisions at all operational levels.
