- Vanessa is a First Gen Alumni and McNair Scholar alumni. She has experience working with First Generation College Students. Vanessa has a background in private practice that focused on anger management and batterers intervention programs.
- Vanessa uses a combination of Person-Centered Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
- Vanessa provides inclusive counseling for students who may be experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety, stress, challenges with self-esteem/body image, adjusting to college, anger management, etc.
