Anyone wondering what all the excitement is about Emporia State’s new Nursing and Student Wellness Center will have their questions answered on Saturday.
From 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, the building will be open to the public and filled with activities plus students and others who can show off the simulation labs, new classrooms and the wellness center.
Outdoor events include rock painting, sidewalk chalking and the Elephan-Tea Boba food truck. Inside there will be activities on all three levels, including a photo booth, Casa Ramos food platters and drinks and snacks from Rise Nutrition. ESU swag with a health and wellness vibe will be available as quantities last. This includes branded first aid kits.
A grow kit with live plants and embroidery kits will be available as relaxing activities aimed at mindfulness.
The Nursing and Student Wellness Center is in the middle of the ESU campus on the east side of the pedestrian mall south of 15th Avenue.
