Emporia State University’s class of new incoming students show double-digit increase in the 20th day of enrollment figures for fall 2022. New freshmen students saw a 12% increase over 2021, new transfer students 15% and new graduate students 7% for an overall increase of 10% for new students compared to fall 2021.

Spafford, a Kansas native, brings a successful 27-year career in athletics to Hornet Nation. Spafford will officially begin his duties on July 17, 2022.
