After a pause in practices, Emporia State University has resumed all intercollegiate athletics activities following a short delay due to an abundance of caution related to COVID-19.
Emporia State University today temporarily suspended all intercollegiate athletics activities after a number of positive COVID-19 tests were found connected to student-athletes.
Amid the numerous festivities on the ESU campus during last weekend’s Homecoming celebration, a defining moment for Emporia State Athletics took place. On Saturday, October 19, ESU held the ceremonial groundbreaking for the Kossover Family Tennis Complex.
Welch Stadium on the Emporia State University campus will open at 8 p.m. for people who want to view the community fireworks display on Thursday, July 4. The west side of the stadium and the field offer the best views.
