Ten students from Emporia State University’s chapter of Phi Beta Lambda qualified for national competition during the 2022 State Leadership Conference. The conference was held in Cremer Hall, home of Emporia State’s School of Business, and hosted by the local PBL chapter.

Cliff Illig and the late Junius George Groves are the 2021 Kansas Business Hall of Fame Contemporary and Historical inductees, respectively. A prerecorded ceremony including Dr. James Leiker, chairman of the board of the KBHF, and Dr. John Rich, KBHF board member, honored Illig and Groves.

A new program in Emporia State’s School of Business will help students in all majors with entrepreneurial goals. The Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Entrepreneurship prepares students with the mindset, skills and resources to launch a business in their area of interest.
A team of four students from Kansas, China and Slovakia will move on to regional competition in the international Hult Prize competition. The team took first place in the OnCampus Hult competition at Emporia State University last month.
