The Emporia State University campus will close for two full weeks at the end of this month. The ESU Foundation, however, will be open during the last week of the year to accept end-of-year gifts.
The full campus will close at 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18 and reopen at 8 a.m. Monday, Jan. 4, 2021.
During the week of Dec. 28, however, Foundation staff will be on hand to assist with end-of-year and other gifts. Foundation hours will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 28 through Thursday, Dec. 31.
Anyone wanting to make a 2020 gift to Emporia State University may deliver the gift in person to 1500 Highland St., by 5 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 31. Checks may be mailed so long as they are postmarked on or before Dec. 31. Credit card gifts may be made online at https://hornetnation.emporia.edu/givenow through Dec. 31.
Although the entire campus re-opens Monday, Jan. 4, residence halls will not open until noon Sunday, Jan. 17. Classes for the spring semester begin Monday, Jan. 25.
