ESU Makes Significant Investment in Cybersecurity Education and Community Outreach

In response to the growing cyber threats in the United States, Emporia State University is taking significant steps to enhance cybersecurity both academically and within the community. ESU's comprehensive approach includes academic programs and community outreach initiatives aimed at fostering awareness and preparing future professionals for the rapidly expanding field of cybersecurity.



Four Students Win Seventh Annual KBHF Essay Contest

Four high school students from across Kansas have won $500 each in the seventh annual Kansas Business Hall of Fame essay contest. The contest was open to students in Grades 9 through 12 in Kansas with entries from homeschooled students also accepted.




Emporia State Hosts Cybersecurity Conference

Emporia State University’s School of Business and Technology is preparing to host several of the nation’s leading cybersecurity experts next week at CyBERCON, an on-campus event that will highlight ESU’s expanding cybersecurity academic programs and the job opportunities for graduates trained in the protection of online data and computer systems.




Students Place at State FBLA Competition

Each of the 11 Emporia State students who attended the Future Business Leaders of America — Collegiate State Leadership Conference earned top placements in competition. They all are eligible for national competition this month in Atlanta. In addition, four were honored as outstanding chapter members in the Who’s Who of FBLA.


Emporia State, Local Chamber Collaborate on Student Internships
